SX-P7C
CoreTec's SX-P7C Contact Closure Multiplexer supports 7 bi-directional contact closures, scanning their state at a rate of 200 times per second, and multiplexing them into a 9600 baud RS-232 data stream. The product may be used whenever a communications device is available with RS-232 com ports, but without provision for transmitting contact closure information. When used with the Core Tec VCS Series video encoders and decoders, this device allows video related alarm information (loss of video, loss of pressure, tamper, etc.) to be transmitted in conjunction with the video signal itself. Contacts are momentary type, where the state of the output replicates the state of the corresponding input. Contacts are rated at .5 amps at 28 volts.
